On September 28th and 29th 2023, we were pleased to host Sunny Smart Living event in Nice, France in conjunction with Can’nx, a product development start-up also based in France. Can’nx works primarily with KNX and IOT products
This event was a unique opportunity for integration professionals to discover the latest KNX innovations and IoT solutions offered in the smart-building arena. A strong focus was given to KNX Secure, energy management, and housing solutions for senior living.
The Sunny Smart Living event brought together nearly forty systems integrators, who spent the two days networking and learning about a number of cutting-edge products, from various manufacturers listed below, that can be integrated seamlessly into any KNX project:

Thanks to the diversity of the products and their interoperability, it was demonstrated that it is possible to carry out a multitude of projects that would not be possible with any other home automation system.
We were very happy to have Joost Demarest (CTO of the KNX Association) attending. He delivered an extremely informative presentation on KNX Data Secure and KNX IP Secure.
The pinnacle of the Sunny Smart Living event was a social evening on the first day of the event. It was held on a rooftop bar overlooking the Bay of Nice. The relaxed evening was an opportunity for participants to get to know each other better, and share their experiences of installations, products and customers.
The meeting highlighted the fact that KNX system integrators are not in competition with each other. Working together to use sustainable and interoperable products is decisive for their success. We would like to thank everyone who made this event a huge success, from the organizers to the participants!
